admira: How did you get started in music?

Carla: Music has been a part of my life since I was born. I grew up in a home where songs and melodies were always playing, thanks to my grandmother and mother, who instilled in me a love for this art. My grandmother played Marisol’s songs and movies to me daily, and I imitated them with devotion, dreaming of being like her one day. My mother, on the other hand, taught me my first guitar chords and was my biggest inspiration. Since I was little, I knew that singing was my way of expressing who I am.

admira: What has led you to play your musical style?

Carla: My style is a natural mixture of what I have lived and felt. Although I was born in San Sebastian, my soul has always been connected to flamenco and rancheras, something that was passed on to me by my mother and grandmother. I think that mix defines my music.

admira: What makes you so attracted to Lola?

Carla: The Admira LOLA is much more than a guitar, it is a tool that allows me to explore my essence as an artist. What attracts me most about it is its powerful and percussive sound, which fits perfectly with my flamenco style and the fusion I am looking for in my music. Its solid spruce top and ziricote body give it a warm tone full of nuances, ideal for expressing both strength and sensitivity.

The low string action and depth of the body make it incredibly comfortable to play, allowing me to develop my art smoothly and naturally. The LOLA is not only a flamenco guitar, it is a companion that inspires me to innovate and enjoy without limits.

admira: Looking to the future… What would your ideal guitar that doesn’t exist yet?

Carla: My ideal guitar would be a mix between traditional and modern, just like my musical style. I imagine a guitar with a classic design, but with the ability to adapt to any scenario. It would have built-in technology to capture the pure sound of the strings, even in noisy environments, and a system that records what I play live. In addition, I would have a custom finish that reflects my essence, perhaps with flamenco and Basque details, as a fusion of my roots.

admira: Tell us, what projects do you have on the table?

Carla: This year I released my first single in November 2024, and in December the next one comes out. I’m working on new songs that will come out in 2025, a year that is full of music and emotions. In addition, I am exploring new ways to connect with my audience, both on digital platforms and in live performances. Another project that I’m very excited about is playing in the street, to bring my music to more people in a close and authentic way. My goal is to continue growing and leave a mark with each song.
