admira: What were your beginnings in music?
The New Raemon: I formed my first group at the age of fourteen, with friends from school. That was the seed of what later became Madee, the band in which I have played all my life and with which I began to publish records professionally. Then I started doing things on my own because I knew that the job I was best at was writing songs.
admira: What do you look for in the sound of the guitar?
The New Raemon: I try to play in a way in which the strings and the instrument merge with my fingers, I achieve this sometimes, especially with nylon strings, there is something in that type of sound that I find very deep and beautiful.
admira: What made you choose the A20-EF, Artesanía Series?
The New Raemon: Its lightness and comfort to play without amplification and how well it sounds amplified with the preamp that it has as standard.
admira: Looking ahead… What would be your ideal guitar that doesn’t exist yet?
The New Raemon: I think the A20-EF and the admira Sevilla from the 80s that I have are enough for me to play the best I can.
admira: Tell us, what are you focused on right now?
The New Raemon: Touring with McEnroe presenting our new album together, it’s called “Nuevos Bosques” (Starry Skies, 2024).
