admira: How did you get started in music?
Lu: Since I was little I have always loved singing and I loved going to concerts and listening to the radio in the car. I signed up for guitar classes at school when I was 7 years old and I think that was what made me dream of being a singer. I have always been a very shy person and as a result of COVID I dared to upload videos of myself singing covers of songs to Tik Tok, since we were all “locked up” at home. It seemed that people really liked the type of video I made and little by little I have grown thanks to that.
admira: What has it meant to have won the Tik Tok Spain 2021 Awards in the music category? What has it meant for your musical career?
Lu: Well, to start with, it was a very cool experience since a small gala was held and I was able to meet several content creators and artists. It was the first time I went to an event with more artists and I remember it fondly. I was very young, I was 16 years old, and winning that prize motivated me and made me realize that work pays off in the end, since at that time I was very active on the networks.
admira: What do you look for when choosing a guitar?
Lu: I’m not an expert on guitars, but I look at the sound, obviously, that I feel comfortable with it and if it has a nice color I fall in love with it.
admira: Looking to the future… What would your ideal guitar be like, which doesn’t exist yet?
Lu: My ideal guitar, and I understand that it doesn’t exist yet, would be one that doesn’t go out of tune, that can be disassembled in some way to make it easier to transport or that the sound can be changed and so you choose the one you like best for each occasion.
admira: Tell us, what projects do you have on the table?
Lu: At the moment, what I can tell you is that I’m preparing a lot of new music, which I’m passionate about, I’m looking forward to you hearing it. We are also considering doing a small tour of venues in Spain. I really want to get up on stage and enjoy the songs with the people, dance, cry and laugh.
