Lourdes Martín
I have been surrounded by music since I was little. When I was about 14 years old, I started playing the guitar. I could barely play and sing at the same time. I have always sung at home, I didn’t dare to sing outside my environment, my family or friends. Little by little I was getting encouraged and uploading some videos to social networks, or singing outside my comfort zone. A year ago I started uploading content on Tik tok and the truth is that, to my surprise, people really liked it and there were more and more of us. Since then I have done several concerts and in January of this year I released my first song. It wasn’t something I had planned, but now I am dedicating time to composing and releasing my own songs. I also try to dedicate time to social networks generating content. Life is offering me opportunities, and without a doubt for me the most beautiful one has been being able to collaborate with a brand like admira, it has been with me since I was little, in my house there were already admira guitars. For me it has been very special to be able to play an admira acoustic guitar.
admira: How did you get started in music?
Lourdes: I have been surrounded by music since I was little, my father is a guitarist and my mother has always sung with him. I have always liked music and I have been interested in learning to play new instruments. I started to pick up some guitars that were around the house when I was about 14 and I have not stopped since then.
admira: What do you look for in the sound of the guitar?
Lourdes: I think the sound of the guitar is very important, that it transmits and helps you connect with the type of music you want to make. In my case, the sound of an acoustic guitar fits my style better, although from time to time I also like another type of sound, like that of a classical guitar.
admira: What impressions has admira Acoustics Indiana given you?
Lourdes: At first I was a little scared, I feel that you have to connect with the sound of the guitar and get used to the new instrument. But in this case, since I started with the admira Acoustics Indiana, I have hardly picked up another guitar. I find it very comfortable and with a good sound.
admira: Looking to the future… What would be your ideal guitar that doesn’t exist yet?
Lourdes: This is a bit curious, but my dream is to have a pink guitar. I know it’s a bit complicated and strange. I’m aware that when you add color to a guitar the sound changes, but I feel that it’s something that would identify me and I hope that one day admira has a pink guitar… I’d love to!
admira: Tell us, what plans do you have on the horizon?
Lourdes: My only plan is to continue making music, learning and getting to know myself. I would like my music to reach people and for them to be able to enjoy it in the same way as I do. Music accompanies me at every moment and I find it very nice every time someone stops to look at what I do and how I do it.
